Collaborative Installation
- Year-long personal project embraced the concepts approached by
myself and two fellow students, inspiring four months of intensive
group work to create an environment for our audience of RIT students,
faculty, and visitors.
- Addressed ideas of spirituality, euphoria, transience, ephemera, life,
audience, and transformation of space through the use of large hanging
poster sized photograms, handmade lamps, and a multitude of small narrative
translucent imagery interwoven with thread.
- Originally approved for one week of display, the installation was so well
received that the site director asked us that the work remain installed for
an additional 13 weeks.
